About Me

I grew up in the thumb of Michigan surrounded by cornfields and some of the best music teachers I could have asked for. These women shaped my future and I am forever indebted to them for shaping my love of musical theatre and passion for teaching in rural communities.

I went on to study theatre and musical theatre at Interlochen Arts Academy and Michigan State University and have been working as a musical theatre coach since! I’ve helped students have successful auditions at Young People’s Theatre, for competitive undergraduate programs, been a guest artists for state-wide festivals, and have had students I meet with weekly to help them reach their goals.

I am passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of all ages and skill levels.

As a musical theatre actress, favorite roles include Wendla in Spring Awakening, Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act, Kira in Xanadu and Heather in American Idiot.

In my spare time I love trying new teas, restoring our 1800’s farmhouse, and spending time outside with my dog (Luna) and my husband (Jeremy). I’m excited to meet you and learn more about you!
